Electronics Services, (IES) of Gray, Tennessee broke ground on a
40,000 square foot expansion and is bringing new technical jobs
to Washington County, Tennessee. The ground breaking also provided
a celebration of the company's designation as a Certified Supplier
to Siemens.
"Siemens Medical Solutions is pleased to announce
that Industrial Electronics Services, Inc, (IES, Inc.) has achieved
the status of CERTIFIED SUPPLIER. It is because of IES, Inc's excellent
quality, delivery and customer services that their name will be
listed in Siemens' Global Procurement Web," stated Chuck Underwood,
Supplier Quality Engineer with Siemens. This listing is used by
other Siemens divisions for potential sourcing opportunities and
supplier selection worldwide. IES, Inc. is one of the few contract
manufacturers that are honored as a Siemens Certified Supplier,
a privilege only awarded to the best suppliers. Mr. Underwood presented
a plaque to IES to be displayed at IES headquarters in Gray.
Larry Mullins, CEO of IES Inc., said "Our
team here at IES is honored to receive this important certification
from our business partner, Siemens. Because of great partnerships
like this, we are creating a 40,000 square foot expansion and plan
to add over 100 jobs in our new facility in Gray over the next three
years."

Services, Inc. (IES) has grown from a small repair shop to a multi-million
